A Facilitator's Guide to Liminal Space

A 2 hour in-person workshop for facilitators, therapists, nature educators, change-makers, and healers.  Learn how to invite others into liminal space so that their healing is amplified.

Liminal space is often where the deepest connection, relaxation and healing happens. Liminal space is a place of mystery, deep curiosity, and a place to connect with and perceive the world differently. It’s a portal into what’s possible when we deepen our understanding of life outside of our rational minds and enter into time and space that is open and full of wonder---an open-hearted and curious sense of flow and spaciousness. Liminal space connects us to the spirit world and offers space for asking questions and letting the answers unfold from time with the land. This is the space of our ancestors, who knew this kind of flow and connection in their day to day lives.

This 2 hour in-person workshop will offer insights on how to create portals for liminal space in your work. We will engage in a modified forest therapy walk, in which Heather will share examples and strategies for opening and exploring liminal space. Learn how to invite others into liminal space in even short amounts of time, in a variety of contexts, so that their healing is amplified.

The more-than-human world offers a stable and reliable source of support and abundance for all of us. As we develop a deeper relationship with the earth and lean into what we can learn from the natural world, we are able to approach our work with clients with more stability and eco-spiritual (inter)connection.

Learning to create invitations into liminal space, also increases our own trust and connection to a deeper sense of well being and creativity. Experiences of liminal space help us to be rooted even as we face the challenges of our times and the discomfort that arises from ongoing change and uncertainty.

This workshop is for facilitators, therapists, nature educators, change-makers, and healers.
