We are bombarded daily with so much change and uncertainty,  in the news and in our own lives. It can feel exhausting and overwhelming and so we often try to distract ourselves or we try to control as much as possible so that we feel more certain.

But what if we could learn to approach uncertainty and change with calm, inner kindness, and  curiosity? What if we could meet uncertainty more gently and intentionally, with less anxiety? And what if we could tune into earth allies and anchors who are willing to help us?

This class is a a space to compassionately honor the heart-ache and overwhelm we collectively feel in the face of all that is uncertain, and to notice and drop below the swirling anxiety and unpredictability of our dominant culture. We will connect to the earth and our wise spirits and practice meeting uncertainty in simple ways that have the power to transform how we typically respond.

In this class we will explore potent tools for meeting uncertainty with more calm, compassion, and curiosity-- to bring more stability and ease into our daily lives.

We will:

  • Learn about common patterns that we fall into when faced with uncertainty

  • Reflect curiously about how we typically meet uncertainty and what our patterns are

  • Meet parts of us who show up when uncertainty is present (like worry, control, fear, criticism), and practice turning toward these parts with more welcome, compassion, and curiosity

  • Enjoy a guided in a visualization that calms our nervous systems and offers earth anchors to support us

  • Engage in reflective journaling and share in a small community of practice

  • Call in a courageous intention to guide us when we face uncertainty

"This class is an experience of being held and invited, into loving witness of all the parts of being human -- hopeful, tender, fearful, playful, brave, and questioning. I have a sense of communal belonging, as well as more expansive resource for how to be with uncertainty.  I can picture using these body and soul practices that feel like a more sturdy bridge between fear and possibility."
